Why
do more families in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. choose
Davis Deejays for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah party? Our talented entertainers
know how to keep your crowd on the dance floor all night long having
the time of their lives.
All our
music is on CD and your Davis Deejay brings thousands of sounds with
him. We have a library of over 425,000 songs to choose from. Let us
know your favorites in advance and we'll bring them.

The Davis Deejays "Mummy Game"
Your Davis Deejay will find songs that will appeal to all ages from
the thirteen year olds to the grandparents. We carry the latest hits
for the kids, but we try to play songs with a melody that the adults
can tolerate. On the other hand, when we're playing oldies, we try
to find songs that the kids might be familiar with from tv shows,
tv commercials or movies. That familiarity keeps all age groups on
the dance floor.
Your Davis Bar Mitzvah disc jockey also plays alot of the fun group
participation songs such as the Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, the
Train, the Chicken Dance , the Hokey Pokey, the YMCA, and the Limbo.
On an average your Davis Bar Mitzvah deejay has
been with the company around 12 years. They bring an excellent
sound system they set up and a complete back up sound system to
your location. That way in the unlikely event there is an equipment
malfunction, there's no time lost to run stuff from an office the
way other companies might do if they have backup at all.
Our disc jockeys have pleasant voices and are very skilled as the
emcee to introduce a candle lighting, the Motzi or any other Bar
Mitzvah traditions.
Most of our Bar Mitzvah clientele want a dj with personality who
has a creative sense of humor on mic and does games and activities
to keep the party rolling. That's where our Bar and Bat Mitzvah
specialists shine.
Maybe we'd do one of our Davis Deejay signature games such as "Bagels,
Lox, Cream Cheese and Woman's Lib." This party game really loosens
people up. Your Davis Dj gets people dancing. If the deejay says
"Bagels," the partners stop dancing and put their arms on each other's
shoulders. If the deejay says "Lox," the partners stop dancing and
turn back to back. If the dj says "cream cheese," the guy gets down
on one knee and the girl sits on the knee of her partner. If the
disc jockey says "women's lib," the girl gets down on one knee and
the guy sits on her knee. The last couple to get into the position
is eliminated. If anyone hesitates or gets into the wrong position
they are also eliminated. As people catch on, the Davis Deejay starts
combining the positions to confuse people.
He might say "Bagels, Lox, Bagels, Lox, Bagels" or something similar.
Again, the last couple to finish the series of positions is eliminated.
The last couple on the dance floor is the winner. We have several
dozen games like this and can do as many or as few as you prefer.
